Tibbs Eve is a Newfoundland tradition that started on the south coast of NL and has grown into one of the biggest pre Christmas celebrations in the province. It is the unofficial kickoff to the holidays, a night when people gather to raise a glass, see old friends, and get ready to spend a few days with the family.
